### Where does the data come from?

Speed values come from the official Google PageSpeed Insights API — the same source as pagespeed.web.dev. Everything else SEOgrinder measures itself by loading the page and analysing the HTML.

### Is my data stored anywhere?

The service stores no reports and no history. A finished report stays in memory for at most 24 hours so the same website is not fetched repeatedly. To measure speed, the address of the checked page goes to Google PageSpeed — your IP address does not. Your recent reports, tasks marked as done and Search Console analyses stay in your browser so you can reopen them without a new scan. “Clear” under “Recent analyses” deletes all of it. Details are in the privacy policy.

### Does a good score guarantee a top ranking?

No. Technical quality is a prerequisite, not a guarantee. Content, relevance and backlinks decide the ranking. SEOgrinder makes sure nothing technical is holding you back.
